Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee serves as the voice of our membership in local and state government matters. This committee actively monitors legislation, policy changes, and regulatory issues that impact the home building industry and our community.

What We Do

  • Track Local & State Legislation: We monitor proposed bills, ordinances, and regulations that affect builders, developers, and homeowners.

  • Advocate for Industry Interests: We work to support policies that promote responsible growth, affordable housing, and a strong construction economy.

  • Provide Member Updates: Members receive weekly jurisdiction updates and alerts about key legislative developments.

  • Host Advocacy Opportunities: We offer regular opportunities for members to engage directly with building officials and participate in advocacy efforts.
