NoCo HBA Partners with Habitat for Humanity Volunteers to Repair Major Damage to Family Home
When: Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Where: 1039 Glen Dale Circle, Dacono, Colorado
Members of the Northern Colorado Home Builders Association are partnering with Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley. The volunteer crew, made up of homebuilding professionals, will spend Friday repairing an older mobile home after extensive damage made it unsafe for the family.
“To provide the Sierro family with the safety and comfort they deserve in their own home, critical repairs are needed,” said Rebecca Shannon, the community engagement manager for Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley.
Volunteers will replace the flooring to make it safe for the family after a the leaky roof caused major damage. A bathroom will also be remodeled to make it handicap accessible.
