The County has started the process of updating or adopting a new energy code. The 2018 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) published by The International Code Council will be adopted in the near future.
The Weld County Department of Building Services is seeking input from you regarding the implementation of the Energy code.
Two options are being considered by the Board of County Commissioners
Option No. 1) Adopt 2018 IECC and implement in phases over a two-year period.
or,
Option No. 2) Adopt 2018 IECC and implement full compliance after a grace period (TBD)
