Annual Meeting of Membership Kicks Off 2026 with Celebration, Leadership, and Momentum

On Thursday, January 22, members of the Home Builders Association of Northern Colorado gathered at the newly restored and historic Venue 319 in downtown Loveland for the Association’s Annual Meeting—an evening that marked both a celebration of 2025 accomplishments and an intentional kickoff to the year ahead.

More than a banquet or awards ceremony, the night served as the Association’s official Annual Meeting of the Membership: a time to reconnect, reflect on the mission that unites the industry, and install the volunteer leaders who will guide the organization forward.

Guests were welcomed by a champagne wall and settled in with cocktails as they connected with peers from across the region. Throughout the reception, members browsed and bid on BUILT NoCO’s silent auction benefiting its workforce development program, supporting hands-on construction education and career pathways for local students. Clint with CK Productions provided complimentary professional headshots, and Wildflower Catering rounded out the evening with exceptional bar service and a beef tenderloin dinner that set the stage for a warm, energetic program.

Executive Officer Victoria Hall opened the evening with a mission-driven welcome, grounding the event in the purpose of the Association and the people who make the work possible.

“This is our Annual Meeting of the Membership—a moment for us to come together as an Association and reflect on who we are and why we do this work,” she shared. “The Home Builders Association exists because of its members. Quite simply, you are the foundation of this organization.”

During her remarks, Victoria also recognized the partners whose investment sustains the Association year-round, including the announcement of the returning 2026 Industry Investors, Pella Windows & Doors and Ent Credit Union and a special acknowledgment of the evening’s Diamond Sponsor, Guild Mortgage, whose leadership support helped make the celebration possible.

Outgoing Board President Jeff Schneider of Armstead Construction then reflected on the progress made in 2025. He highlighted the Association’s continued financial stability, the success of the inaugural Builder Product Expo—which will return in 2026—and the addition of CRL Associates as Public Affairs consultants. That partnership has already strengthened relationships with local jurisdictions and municipalities while improving the Association’s ability to track and respond to policy and regulatory changes that directly impact members’ businesses.

Following the presentation of membership awards, Bob Peterson of the National Association of Home Builders joined Schneider to formally install the 2026 Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

The 2026 Executive Committee includes David Quackenbush, Lone Creek Custom Homes; Daniel Ormesher, Independent Plumbing Solutions; Brad Turner, RMG – Engineers; Casey Kiser, Guild Mortgage; and Jeff Schneider, Armstead Construction Inc.

The 2026 Board of Directors includes Brad Turner, RMG – Engineers; Jon Tschetter, Hartford Homes; Ian Simkiss, BUILT NoCO; Jeff Schneider, Armstead Construction Inc.; David Quackenbush, Lone Creek Custom Homes; Jon Mosier, Landmark Homes; Hank McDougal, Baessler Homes; Casey Kiser, Guild Mortgage; Michael Doddridge, Doddridge Construction Corp.; Daniel Ormesher, Independent Plumbing Solutions; Alyssa Mahler, Signature Stone; Kyle George, EPS Group; Randy Martin, ENT Credit Union; Megan Gollish, Bath & Kitchen Idea Center by Greeley Winsupply; and Morgan Kidder, Journey Homes.

Incoming President David Quackenbush closed the evening with a forward-looking message centered on value, engagement, and advocacy. He emphasized that membership in the NoCo HBA extends far beyond events, reminding attendees that, “When you invest in this association, you’re investing in advocacy, education, networking, recognition, and influence. Influence locally, statewide, and nationally.”

Looking ahead to 2026, he outlined a strong focus on advocacy and clear communication around local and regional issues such as building codes, impact fees, and housing costs, while encouraging every member to stay involved. “Advocacy is not just the responsibility of a committee. Every member has a role,” he said.

He also challenged associate members to better understand builders’ day-to-day pressures so they can serve as true partners. “When you understand those challenges, you can better position yourselves as trusted partners and collaborators, not just service providers. That is where real opportunity is created.”

The evening concluded with a shared sense of momentum. From workforce development and stronger municipal relationships to improved member tools and technology, the Association enters the new year focused on delivering measurable value and real influence for the industry.

With dedicated volunteers, engaged members, and committed partners, the year ahead is full of opportunity—and the NoCo HBA is ready to get to work.
