Blooming at Capital Countertops: A Sold-Out Late Fall Evening for PWB

Posted By: Gabby Smith Association Updates, Council Connections ,

The Late Fall Bloom Series event at Capital Countertops’ new Design Center in Windsor sold out, and the evening showed why.

Kelli Smith, owner of Capital Countertops and an NoCo HBA member since 2024, welcomed the NoCo HBA and its PWB members to a night celebrating the next chapter for the Capital Family. Guests toured the facility, which will add co-working spaces in early 2027. Customers and clients will be able to come in, settle in, and design right alongside the team.

The Art of Hosting

The hands-on highlight of the evening was a charcuterie board class led by Anna Ricci of Curated Grazing Co. Anna is a Windsor entrepreneur recently recognized by WOW as an Emerging Woman in Business. She showed us how to pair, style, and arrange a board that looks as good as it tastes, along with simple tips for entertaining.

Every attendee built their board on a Quartz or Granite cutting board provided by Capital Countertops. It was a solid foundation for the class and a stylish keepsake to take home.

What Does It Mean to Bloom?

For Capital Countertops, blooming looks like a team of 16 growing together. As part of the PWB Bloom Series, Kelli shared her story with the group, including what growth, creativity, and design mean to her and her team and how those values shape their work.

Adding this design studio in Windsor, Colorado is a testament to Kelli’s dedication to the construction industry. It’s an investment in her team, her customers, and the community of builders, designers, and trades that Capital Countertops serves.

With stations set up throughout the space, guests had the chance to engage, catch up with fellow industry professionals, and enjoy the evening.
