Creativity in Full Bloom: PWB Watercolor Night Recap

The Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council brought its BLOOM Series to life with a relaxing and creative watercolor evening, bringing women from across Northern Colorado’s building industry together for an opportunity to connect, create, and grow.

The evening featured a guided watercolor experience led by Athena Van Waardenburg of Pella Windows & Doors, who shared her artistic talent and helped attendees explore their creativity. No prior painting experience was needed—just an openness to trying something new and connecting with fellow industry professionals!

Beyond the paintbrushes and watercolor palettes, the event created space for meaningful conversations, new connections, and learning more about PWB membership and opportunities to get involved. Attendees also heard about the sponsors and partnerships that help PWB continue to create engaging experiences for women in the building industry.

A special thank-you to our generous event sponsors:

• First American Title – Venue Sponsor

• Fairway Home Mortgage – Palette & Beverage Sponsor

• Pella Windows & Doors – Palette & Hors d'oeuvres Sponsor

Your support helps PWB provide opportunities for women to build relationships, share talents, and flourish both personally and professionally.

The watercolor evening was a wonderful reminder that growth happens when we make time to connect, explore new interests, and support one another. Through the BLOOM Series, PWB continues to cultivate a community where women can learn, build relationships, and thrive in Northern Colorado’s building industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening special. We look forward to continuing to grow, connect, and BLOOM together!
